# Brand protection without the annual retainer

> Fraudox gives smaller teams a monthly, success-based alternative to annual brand protection contracts, with takedowns from $4 per confirmed removal on Pro Plus.

Traditional brand protection is often sold as an annual contract. That makes sense for large teams with global monitoring needs, procurement processes and a constant pipeline of abuse.

It makes less sense for the company that has already found the problem.

If you have a phishing URL, fake Instagram account, scam domain, counterfeit app or stolen content page in front of you, the immediate need is removal. You do not always need a year of monitoring software before someone files the takedown.

## Why annual retainers feel heavy

Annual brand protection contracts usually bundle several jobs together:

- Monitoring for new domains, social profiles, ads and marketplace listings.
- Risk scoring and analyst triage.
- Takedown filing.
- Reporting dashboards.
- Executive summaries.
- Custom integrations.

For a mature enterprise program, that bundle can be useful. For a creator, startup, marketplace seller or small SaaS team, it can be too much contract for a very specific job.

The problem is not that enterprise suites are bad. The problem is buying one when your actual question is: can this fake asset be removed?

## A monthly model changes the entry point

Fraudox is built around the takedown workflow itself: evidence, routing, filing, escalation and verification.

The public [pricing](https://fraudox.com/pricing) is monthly. Pro is $50/month for 10 successful takedowns. Pro Plus is $120/month for 30 successful takedowns. Used fully, Pro Plus works out to $4 per confirmed removal.

That matters because it lets smaller teams start with the problem they have today instead of committing to an annual program before they know the volume.

## Success-based counting keeps the incentive clean

The other difference is what counts.

A takedown should not count because a form was submitted. It should count when the page, account, domain, app listing or copied content is actually removed, suspended or made inaccessible.

That is why Fraudox counts paid takedowns only after confirmed removal. If a case cannot be won, fails, or needs a different remedy such as legal action, it does not consume the paid quota.

This model keeps the work pointed at the outcome instead of the activity.

## When monthly takedowns are enough

A monthly takedown plan is usually enough when:

1. You already know the URLs, accounts or listings causing harm.
2. Abuse appears in bursts rather than thousands of targets per month.
3. You need removal more than monitoring.
4. You want to prove the workflow before expanding budget.
5. The team handling abuse is small and needs operational help.

If the abuse turns into a large recurring program, the model can grow from there. Starting monthly does not block a later enterprise setup.

## When an enterprise retainer still makes sense

Some teams do need the bigger contract. If you need global monitoring across thousands of domains, marketplace listings, social accounts, ads and app stores, a full digital risk protection program may be the right tool.

The point is to choose it because the volume demands it, not because the market made annual contracts the only way to access takedowns.

## The answer in one line

You do not need an annual brand protection retainer to start removing abuse: Fraudox offers monthly, success-based takedowns, with Pro Plus reaching $4 per confirmed removal when its included quota is used.
