How long does a fake page takedown take? +
Most fake pages are taken down within 48 hours. Complex cases involving unresponsive hosts or offshore registrars may take longer, but we escalate aggressively and keep you updated throughout.
What types of fake pages can you take down? +
We handle phishing sites, fake social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X), impersonation accounts, fake mobile apps, scam domains, and counterfeit marketplace listings.
What evidence do I need to provide? +
The link to the fake page, plus something showing the real one is yours: your own account, your site, or your original content. A trademark certificate helps on some platforms but is not required. We guide you through what each one asks for.
What if the fake page comes back after takedown? +
We monitor for re-emergence. If the same actor spins up a new fake page, we file again immediately, often faster the second time because we already have the evidence on file.
Do I pay if the takedown fails? +
No. Fraudox uses success-based billing on paid plans: if we can't get the fake page removed, you don't pay, and failed attempts don't count against your quota. The free plan covers one submission whatever the outcome.
